SHORT-TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING EVENTS

C1 - Short-term joint staff training events (Athens, Greece)

The teaching staff of the Schools and the University together with the public employment operators who work in the training meet in the 1st Transactional Preparatory and Methodological Meeting for Teachers and Trainers to acquire the elements and tools useful for the determination of the innovative Integrative Learning Label oriented to the study of History through Cinema. The participants are identified by the Partner Organization with internal selection based on the following requirements: knowledge of the English language (leveI B1), experience in the reference areas of the project activities, presence of adequate motivation and willingness to participate in the different phases of the project. The activities will be attended by 3 units for schools and municipalities and 5 units for universities.

The 5-day meeting will take piace in Greece in Volos at the University of Thessaly in March 2019 and will be coordinated and conducted by University professors through the organization and development of severaI working sessions:
– 1 Part. Meeting of Focus Group seminars to acquire mutuai knowledge of different national culturaI realities and training experiences in the specific field of transmission of culturaI heritage and knowledge of history.
– 2 Part. Round table for the exchange of good practices experimented and used in school and university teaching and in cultura! and training initiatives supported and implemented at the level of the locaI community.
– 3 Part. Activities laboratories for data collection and analysis of needs and needs of the community of trainers and students in the areas of reference of the project, analysis of territorial economie and social contexts, costs and benefits of the new educational tool identified with careful evaluation of opportunities and precautions methodologies fora correct and effective use of Cinema.
– 4 Part. Evaluation and joint strategie synthesis. Drafting Final activity report and first methodological and introductory drafting of the “European History Moving” Label to be shared with the teaching and training staff in the National Offices of the Partner Organizations.

During the workshop, electronic, on-line and off-line and paper-based devices and aids will be used. The workshop’s primary objective is to identify, share and learn the methodological, pedagogica I and operational guidelines (methods and tools) that characterize the “European History Moving” Model to be transferred on an experiential-operational level in the second phase of the project.
lt is therefore a type of participatory peer training based on the exchange of knowledge and experience and on mutuai learning both methodological and operational. Participating operators will elaborate the document, starting from the observation elements that each of them possesses and / or collects with respect to the characteristics of the experience and the training offer of their own territory and identifying the distinctive and shared methodological characteristics.

The starting axiom will be the sharing of a common educational space in which there is a transmission of knowledge and that is inspired by the principles of inclusiveness, equaI opportunities and multilingualism. From a content point of view, the workshop represents an opportunity for participants to explore the topics related to:
• the organization of educational processes on the different national territories;
• innovation: starting from the shared definition of “what is innovation in the context of education and learning performance processes?“, To the exploration of the link between innovation, creativity and tradition.

Deliverables: Minutes, attendance records, work session reports, evaluation questionnaires, final activity evaluation report, audio and video recordings, photographic material, information and communication tools, internal and external communication, etc…

C2 - Short-term joint staff training events (Perpignan, France)

The teaching staff of the Schools and the University together with the public employment operators who work in the training meet in the 2nd Transactional Meeting for Teachers and Trainers to define the work schedule ofthe operational-experiential phase to be conducted in the following months of the project where applied, tested and evaluated the preliminary teaching Label. Participants may be the same subjects as the first meeting or others who will stili be identified by the Partner Organization with internal selection based on previously applied criteria and requirements. The activities will be attended by 3 units for schools and municipalities and 5 units for universities.

The 5-day meeting will take piace in France in Perpignan at the Lycèe Polyvalent Secondary School Jean Lurcat in May 2019 and will be coordinated and conducted by University professors through the organization and development of several working sessions:
– 1 Part. Seminar with illustration by participants of any contributions, changes and additions received and highlighted in the Focus Group meetings held at national level with fellow teachers on the elements, objectives and results of the “European History Moving” Label developed in the first meeting.
– 2 Part. Comparison and definition of the Operational Program to be organized and implemented with the students in the Schools starting from September (new school year). A creative-experiential program of historical-film laboratories, cinema-forums, workshops, etc. with an in-depth appendix for working groups on professional and entrepreneurial opportunities in the film sector. The activities will be carried out in the schools oriented by the teachers with the coordination of university teachers in virtual mobility. The training program ends with a final assessment test of the skills acquired to be carried out individually.
– 3 Part. Comparison and definition of the Contest Rules. The educational experience of the students is completed in the preparation and implementation of the Audio-visual Contestwith the subject of the representation of the History of Europe starting from the formation of modem states. Selected students divided into groups of n. 6 members will be engaged in development laboratories of the project idea, realization and presentation of the audiovisual product. The audio visual laboratory is carried out in the school premises accompanied by teachers with the coordination of university teachers in virtual mobility ends with a final assessment test of the skills acquired to be carried out individually.
– 4. Regulations and Criteria for the selection of participating students with online registration on the Website. The activities of experimentation of the “European History Moving” Label (creative-experiential operative program and Contest) will participate n. 18 students for each partner School that will be selected on the basis of the rules defined in the Participation Rules which contains information and publication methods, implementation times, enrollment procedures, evaluation criteria and publication of results.
– 5. Part. Definition and organization of the student workshop program of October 2019.
– 6. Part. Evaluation and joint strategie synthesis. Drafting Final activity report.

C4 - Short-term joint staff training events (Murcia and Motril, Spain)

The teaching staff of the Schools and the University together with the public employment operators who work in the training meet in the 3rd Transactional Meeting for Teachers and Trainers for the final evaluation of the Label educational Label “European History Moving applied in the operational phase in creative activities and experiential and in the Audio-visual Contest. Participants may be the same subjects as the first meeting or others who will stili be identified by the Partner Organization with internal selection based on previously applied criteria and requirements. The activities will be attended by 3 units for schools and municipalities and 5 units for universities. The 3rd Transnational Meeting for teachers and trainers takes piace at the same time as the 2nd Transnational Student Workshop.
The 5-day meeting will take piace in Spain in the city of Motril Secondary School La Zafra in May 2020 and will be coordinated and conducted by the professors of the Universities through the organization and development of severaI working sessions:
– 1 Part. Seminar with illustration by the participants (teachers and teachers) of the activities organized and carried out in the Schools during the operational phase of application of the “European History Moving Label” results and criticai points highlighted during the course of the implementation;
– 2 Part. Seminar with illustration by the participants (teachers and teachers) of the activities organized and carried out in the Schools in relation to the Steps of the Contest. Constitution of student work groups (6 for each of the 3 working groups), phases of conception and development of the audio-visuaI product, selection of the best product at school level carried out through objective technical criteria and evaluation with voting of the school community locai.
– 3 Part. Coordination and management of the final Contest with presentation of the work
and proclamation of the ranking of audiovisual products on the basis of a composite evaluation between objective technical criteria and evaluation by voting of ali the students participating in the international workshop of the locaI school community.
– 4 Part. Evaluation activities with tools such as interviews, satisfaction tests, focus groups among students and joint strategie synthesis. Drafting Fina activity report.
– 5 Part. Focus Group for the evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of the new “European History Moving” Label methodology with respect to the achievement of the expected training objectives.
During the workshop, electronic, on-line and off-line and paper-based devices and aids will be used. The priority objective of the 3rd Transactional Meeting for Teachers and Trainers is to share and define the methodological, pedagogica I and operational guidelines (methods and tools) that characterize the “European History Moving” model to be launched at the dissemination and follow-up phase. Participation in project activities will allow participants to:
– strengthen the international networking system fora stable and lasting cooperation in the education and training of learners.
– develop an integrated training model to support the knowledge and study of History and the European CulturaI heritage through Cinema
– build participatory and multi-sectoral approaches that bring students and teachers together in innovative ways and open to culturaI dialogue and intercultural comparison
