Our school is in one of the fastest growing areas of the state and serves the educational needs of the distriet since September 1969.
Our school currently consists of 3 kindergartens, kindergarten, elementary school, middle and high school and accommodates a culturally diversified body of 1,300 students and 200 faculty and staff. We firmly believe that each student's success is a shared responsibility of both the students and the school community, supported by an innovative and academically challenging environment.
In view of the latter we strive to nurture values rnand encourage our students to look for new learning paths; hence our commitment to offering a combination of national and international curricula. Parallel to the national education system, we offer 3 international Baccalaureate programs, primary years, middle years and diploma. The latter occurs in a complete bilingual environment, from grade 1 to 12; further support multilingualism with fully integrated language courses, namely Chinese, German, Arabic, French and Spanish.
In addition to a large selection in the basic courses, we offer art and design workshops, music and theater studios; with shows organized in prestigious Athenian theater stages.The implementation ofthe training curriculum is enriched bycutting-edgetechnologies such as the Appie Lighthouse School 1:1 iPad which offers students from grades 6 to 12 a sophisticated interactive-teaching experience through iBooks and relevant to their leaming, Applications.
In the same way we are proud of the competitive and diversified sports sector, with an athletic department that in recent years has distinguished itself in a series of national championships. Students are offered the opportunity to conduct research in a library with updated online and bibliographic material; he can explore the constellations through our planetarium; and practice sports in our indoor pool, closed basketball court and open football field, with advanced and specific security protocols.
